Mechanical Engineer Full Time

Job Summary:

• To act as department main coordinator in identifying acquisition of new assets for yard new development and expansion projects as part of asset management.

Technical Competencies:

• Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
• Assist in identifying the necessary assets required in yard expansion and new development projects.
• Gathering and analyzing data, blueprints, and reports.
• Determining equipment specifications.
• Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure maintenance schedules are established for new assets.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
• Coordinate with the stakeholders and relevant departments to ensure asset related information received to acquire the right asset.
• Coordinate with relevant departments and procurement in developing appropriate specifications for new asset requirements and participate in tender technical review.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the assets as part of asset management.
• Mechanical Engineering Knowledgeable (preferably in the field of maintenance).
• Knowledge of best engineering practice on asset management.
• Knowledge of Maintenance Reliability field.
• Working knowledge on applicable ERP system on asset management (preferably IFS).
• Sound analytical and diagnostic skills, an aptitude for machinery problems and the ability to generate trust and co-operation.
• Communication and presentation skills
• Computer Literate & familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word & Power point.
• Able to review Engineering Drawings and technical Specifications.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other engineering discipline.

Experience:

• 10 years relevant experience.
