Electro Mechanic Full Time

Purpose of the Job:

Perform quality servicing and repairs, on all electronics systems and devices so as to return them to manufacturer’s specifications.

Job Accountabilities:

Receive work and Job Card from the workshop supervisor.

Carries out diagnosis on faults, checks the parameters, and analyses the defect.

By receiving the job card, performs each requirement and ticks and signed the checklist upon completion of work.

Rectifies the defect and fixes in the time allowed. In the event of complications, refers the matter to the workshop supervisor.

Searches for information in the available documentation (technical manuals, repair booklets).

Identifies additional work and non-conformances. Rapidly communicates them to the Workshop Supervisor and writes them down on the Job Card.

Ensure the presentation of the equipment viz. resetting of equipment and accessories, cleanliness.

If any parts are required, informs the Workshop Supervisor

Applies the manufacturer’s directives and safety rules.

Tidies up and cleans the work area, and all the tools used (individual or collective).

Maintains the stock of tools and keeps them in proper condition.

Perform all the activities in compliance with the Company’s QHSEMS and as per the assigned specific responsibilities.

Carries out any additional tasks assigned (in line with qualifications and ability) by the line manager.

Qualifications & Education

High-school degree / ITI certification.

Experience

A minimum of 3years of experience in a similar profile within commercial vehicle and heavy equipment.

Knowledge & Skills

Working knowledge of English.

Understand the uses of modern diagnostic equipment.
