The Chief Commercial Officer shapes, drives and enables the execution of a commercial strategy that aligns with the organisation’s goals of patient-centric healthcare, market expansion, and an exceptional client experience. This includes optimising healthcare product and service commercialisation, leveraging consumer insights and marketing, delivering measurable business growth through targeted sales strategies and factoring changing health policy into commercial strategies.
The Chief Commercial Officer plays a pivotal role in scaling the business and optimizing go-to-market strategies while also leading funder strategy development and negotiations in close collaboration with the CEO and CFO.
Additionally, this role drives innovation by identifying, ideating, and piloting new offerings to expand products and services. A key focus is on service differentiation and the growth of both business-to-consumer and business-to-business markets. Through close stakeholder collaboration, the role ensures seamless execution of strategic initiatives, cross-functional alignment, and long-term success in a dynamic healthcare environment.Additionally, this role drives innovation by identifying, ideating, and piloting new offerings to expand products and services. A key focus is on service differentiation and the growth of both business-to-consumer and business-to-business markets. ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management or a related field.
DESIRED EDUCATION
A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a relevant postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.
Additional qualifications in healthcare, sales and marketing, project and portfolio management, digital transformation, innovation, and strategy
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
At least 10 years of experience in global or divisional leadership roles with business development and/or commercial and people management accountability.
