Junior Financial Analyst Full Time

Organizational Culture & Compliance:

• Adheres to the division’s policies, procedures and standards while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory bodies.
• Contributes to developing the division’s policies and procedures and provides recommendations towards improving them wherever applicable.
• Contributes towards an innovative culture of continuous improvement for enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participates in meetings and maintains professionalism and confidentiality as per the organization’s standard code of conduct.
• Completes personal performance evaluation cycle in a timely manner.

Financial Analysis:

• Assists Finance Business Partner on Preparing monthly revenue reports, formulates variance analysis on a monthly, quarterly and year-to-date basis, prepares the rejection analysis reports, as well as various OPEX and COS reporting elements.
• Assists Finance Business Partner on Works on asset scorecards, annual budget and CAPEX monitoring.
• Preparation of various operational reports such as: length of stay, bed utilization reports, productivity ratios, statistics, etc.
• Monitors cash price calculations for clinical services, creates business cases for new medical equipment.
•  Ensures compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and directives.

Communication: 

• Communicates clearly and impactfully to achieve high productivity and to maintain strong relationships with external/internal stakeholders and team members.
• Maintains good interdivisional liaison to ensure smooth implementation of strategic and operational activities.

General:

• Act as an advocate for the vulnerable, challenging poor practice and discriminatory attitudes and Behavior relating to their care.
• Contribute to the wider corporate and organizational development needs as appropriate within the scope of practice.
• Takes responsibility to ensure complaints, concerns, and recommendations are escalated appropriately and documented.
• Are responsible to take action to report incidents, including near misses; to ensure as an organization we learn.
• Compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Management System which integrates with the Health and Safety regulations of the facility.

Education: 

Essential:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Finance,Economics, or related fields.

Preferred: 

• Master’s Degree

Experience:

• 2+ years of progressive career experience in a Financial healthcare function or similar.

Certification and Licensure:

Essential:

• Semi Qualified – CMA, CPA, ACCA, ACA,CA, CFA or equivalent
