Requirements:
• Ability to develop and debug a backend service that uses AI is a must. Experience in any major programming language e.g. Python, Nodejs, Java.
• Very comfortable in git , visual studio/Dev tools.
• Navigates a linux OS smoothly.
• Thorough knowledge of Transformer Architecture and recent Deep-learning models.
• Comfortable in using database including relational, graph or NoSQL.
• The mindset of delivering useable products. Providing value out of existing research and tools is key to a successful product. Academic R&D is useful but requires further perseverance to build a software product.
• Self-motivated to continuously use the latest libraries released by the likes of Nvidia, Huggingface, Langchain etc..
• If there was no prior work experience, s/he will need to demonstrate during the interview ability to work in teams. Self-motivated and does not wait on others.
• Excellent communication skills. S/he can understand risks involved in different designs and data sets and communicates that to the team.
• Ability to navigate through various obstacles to get to a resolution.
Please provide a link to your GitHub or repository. The repository has to show the ability to work in teams and be able to develop code using a modular and scalable design. Your ability to design and code services that uses an AI API is as valuable as designing a new Encoder/Decoder architecture.
Nice to Have:
• Understands DevOps e.g. Kubernetes
• Latest development in llamaindex or LangChain
• Understand ways to speed up GPU memory loads during inference/training
• Configuration of HPC
• Knowledge of Stress testing tools e.g. JMeter
• PagedAttention understanding
