Plumbing Assistant Technician Jobs in Dubai, UAE
Key accountabilities
- Ability to conform to all general and technical safety requirements at all times to ensure the health, safety & welfare of self and others at work
- Any other work as assigned by the supervisor / duty engineer to achieve the purpose.
- Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Can read interpret and describe the functionality of pipework schematics and system layout drawings
- Can correctly setup and use test equipment and interpret the test results.
- Assets Exposure (Direct) Major assets below, but not limited to:
• Pumps
• Pressure Vassals
• Oil Interceptor
• Back Flow Preventer assembly
• Faucet and Fixtures
• Water Heaters
• Pressure Vassals
• Toilet fixtures and appliance - Delivers Customer Service Sees those they interact with as customers and seeks to identify and meet needs, taking swift action to resolve issues with integrity. Always alert to the customer’s point of view and demonstrates a sense of urgency.

Specific requirements
- High School Certificate
- Industrial Training Institute Diploma (2 year duration) in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Maintenance or equivalent (post high school) is desireable
- IOSH Working Safely Certificate or equivalent
- Current valid UAE driving licence is desirable
- Minimum three (3) year experience within a Facility Management or similar environment.
- Airport experience is considered as added advantage for this position
- Ability to communicate with staff, stakeholders and customers in oral and written English.
- Working Knowledge in using MS Office (Word / Excel / Power point
- Ability to perform safely and correctly the following on plumbing equipment and pipework systems:
– Safety Isolations and LOTO.
– Planned preventative maintenance (PM) routines
– Corrective maintenance (CM)
– Breakdown maintenance (BD).
