Training Support Specialist Full Time

The role holder will assume responsibility for the efficient running of the administrative function of the SEP Training department. Providing support to Safety Emergency Procedures (SEP) Training Management and SEP Operations with accountability for maintaining General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) licences for Training Specialists, Flight Crew and Cabin Crew, and day-to-day management of mandatory licencing certification to effectively and efficiently meet operational training requirements. In collaboration with relevant stakeholders ensuring effective support is provided for the continuity of departmental standards and strict adherence to GCAA regulations. Job Outline: – Oversee the documentation system for regulatory training including outsourced records, associated modules and reporting requirements. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders that interface with the documentation system. – Liaison with the GCAA designated examiners to ensure conducted SEP courses are reflected within the mandatory GCAA licencing records. – Ensure correct and timely certification processes are completed by SEP Training Specialists in coordination with the Quality, Regulation and Compliance teams. This will include a review of the My Learning Zone (MLZ) platform for verification of Training Certification results. – Oversight and retrieval of licencing data information from Training Management System (TMS) and Microsoft Outlook ensure accuracy, and rectify errors. – In collaboration with SEP Training Management and SEP Regulatory Compliance & Audit Officer (RACO) review discrepancies and audit findings in the documentation processes for licensing and training certification to rectify the issue. – In coordination with the Quality, Regulation and Compliance (QRC) team Lead ensure GCAA Examiners qualifications, initial and renewal applications are initiated and maintained. – In alignment with CAR-AIR OPS regulations ensure initial and renewal applications for the Crew Resource Management Trainer (CRMT) licences are maintained. – Support the SEP department with the integration of the Electronic Training and Grading System (e-TAGS) and the transition of the current training certification process to become fully automated and align to business goals – Support the implementation of licencing processes with the introduction of new training mediem and aircraft types. – Support the completion of Cabin Crew Attestations for relicencing of Cabin Crew qualification for Aircraft type ratings. Assist with the introduction of the electronic version during the transition phases as determined by the GCAA, Flight Training, Regulatory Compliance and SEP Training Management.

Bachelors Degree or Equivalent GPA: 3.0+ ILETS: 6 and above or EMSAT English 1400 or TOEFEL 550 UAE Nationality (Passport & Khulasat Al Qaid) Age between 21 – 26 Degree in Business Administration or Aviation related field preferred. Knowledge/skills: – Experience in a similar capacity, independently supporting an administrative department, in a large international organization preferably related to the aviation industry. – Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products and able to use Multimedia as a training tool will be an advantage. – High standard of written and spoken English and high level interpersonal skills. – Preferred experience of writing comprehensive reports and gathering and analysing data.
